Hobbit Adventure

It was a Hobbit Adventure. Their take on it is “An absolute escape from Ocean City. A place to indulge in inventive American cuisine and mouthwatering seafood while overlooking one of the most picturesque views you have ever laid eyes on.” Quite nicely put. The round glass door way entrance begs to prove you right. 121 81st St, Ocean City, MD 21842

I must say I’ve ruined the presentation of one of the gluten-free options presented. I came to Ocean City Maryland to enjoy the seafood. When they set this beautiful plate of two – yes one is missing – crab cakes with garlic potatoes and garlic string beans I couldn’t resist. I even squeezed the lemon. aaah. Frankly I would have been most happy with the early bird crab cake special since they were so large, but you have to order before 5:45 PM And a quiet room with gentle music where you can actually hear the person across the table talk to you without shouting.

The Creme Brule is gluten-free and if you’re able try their  house specialty for over thirty-years called Mary’s Delight, “Crushed walnut crust, thin layer of sweetened cream cheese, chocolate pudding, homemade whipped cream.”

When you want a special place with a special someone or just a reason to celebrate with good food the Hobbit is a grand choice.
